Hi, I’m Lydia. I have a small friend who was turning seven right before Christmas. As you can imagine, sewing time at Christmas can be last minute and stressful, but this little bag was a breeze to pull together in a few hours! Plus, I got to use up some recycled jeans to boot! 😍 Using a free pattern from So-sew-easy.com called “Small canvas tote bag”, I added a drawstring closure to ensure the contents would be safe inside – even while swinging from the monkey bars… 😅 And my friend adored the inside pockets and rainbow fabric. ❤️ Easy, recycle-friendly, and free – what’s not to love?

Thanks for letting me share! (Click here for free pattern.)

A closer look at the inside. All I had left to do was sew down the tag!
