Hi, I’m Linda. I thought I would submit a quilt that I made several years ago. My husband and I spent a couple weeks in England and Scotland, visiting castles and cathedrals. Towards the beginning of our trip I started noticing that most of the places we toured sold tea towels AND they were all made from 100% cotton. The quilter in me started getting ideas of turning the tea towels into a quilt. The picture below shows the end result which now hangs in the front foyer of our house.
Thanks!
Linda

What a great idea. Like a photo album- only better in some ways. Thanks for the inspiration- should I go traveling- I think I’ll check out towels for souvenirs.
absolutely beautiful. what a great lasting souvenir that shows these castles and cathedrals, you’ve given us a great idea for future trips.
