Hi, I’m Alice. I made this dress with Missouri Star Quilt Co. wide-back Confetti fabric. The wide-back fabric allows me to add width to the dress for ease in wearing. The peasant dress pattern I use is one that is free on the internet “Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom”. The website is Scatteredthoughtsofacraftymom.com.
The DAG (Dress a Girl) label on the pockets helps protect the children from human trafficking. The Northern Nevada DAG workshop meets every 3 month in Reno, NV. “Dress a Girl around the World” is an organization associated with “Hope for Women International”. It makes my heart happy to make a dress that will bring a smile to a little girl somewhere.
Thanks!
