Hi, I’m Sue. In September, 2023, my daughter asked for a quilt for her birthday in October. I had never quilted anything at this time. So research it is. I found a few things she liked, so bought supplies and jumped right in. I had no idea what I was doing, so followed a Youtube tutorial on making an Attic Window. Well, when it was finished I thought it needed to be bigger. So back I went to see what else I could do. I found Log Cabin blocks. Okay, I can do that. Still not big enough, so I just started adding fabric where I thought it should be. A kind of willy-nilly fill in. Once I got it to the size I liked, it was back to see what the next step was. I ended up contacting a local quilt shop to get it quilted by someone who knew what they were doing. This is the finale quilt. Please remember, this was my first try at quilting and I am today still learning. Thanks!
