Quilter’s Name: Janis Harrold from Idaho
Name of Pattern: The Violet Quilt by Erica Jackman

Hi, my name is Janis. I live in beautiful Idaho and have been sewing since my mom taught me at nine years old. I’ve collected Tula Pink fabrics for years, and decided they had marinated sufficiently to make a great quilt. The pattern is ‘The Violet Quilt’ by Erica Jackman. (I didn’t do the quilting myself because I wanted it to be more fun than straight lines.) I used a flange binding to add some Pink.
In addition to collecting Tula Pink fabrics, I also collect William Morris fabrics. Those two designers couldn’t be farther apart, but I love them both.
I hope you enjoy this quilt. It makes me smile every time I see it.

Very pretty Janis! I have some of this fabric too- which I haven’t used yet…
