Why did the gnome become a comedian? Because he had a knack for delivering “gnome”-stop laughs! Lol! Do you love gnomes? They are all the rage these days. Of course the adorable garden gnomes meant to place outside in your yard or garden have been around awhile, but now there is a huge selection of them in stores. Gone are the days when they all had red hats and a white beard. These days there are a lot to choose from. You can find gnomes dressed as farmers or grouchy-looking gnomes, or even dancing gnomes. The love for gnomes has flowed over to other areas, not just your garden. You can now find gnome fabric, gnome t-shirts, gnome dishes, gnome everything! Heck, you can even find gnome wallpaper if you wanted to! (Remind me later to look for that! Ha!)
Gnomes have a rich folklore history in various cultures around the world, often depicted as small humanoid creatures living underground or in forests. They’re often associated with guarding treasure or serving as protectors of nature. In some legends, gnomes are said to possess magical abilities, such as the ability to control the earth or communicate with animals. Besides all of that, they are just pretty darn adorable!
