You might recognize Joi from our Nancy’s Notions Wardrobe Builder Series. You can check out a variety of videos on sewing garments and all of her tips and tricks for amazing results in Wardrobe Builder.
Joi’s third and latest book Ultimate Illustrated Guide to Sewing Clothes is available online on Joi’s website. Joi is already working on a fourth book of sewing techniques that will be out this winter.
Joi has a sewing club and this year, during Season 5, a few of her project special features include her own quilt design the Fashion Bodice Quilt, and her adorable Felted Wool Coat (which will be featured in a variety of fabrics throughout the year).
Joi loves teaching clothing in an approachable fashion. This jacket is lined with a lovely quilting cotton, and the concept for this quilt was inspired by a quilt her grandmother made in the 1950’s.
