Hi, my name is Judith Martinez and I live in Evans, Colorado! I love making hexagons by using the English Paper Piecing method. I can take them anywhere I go when I know I’ll have to wait. It gives me something to do! I even take projects with me when I travel to see my sons & family.
I know there are faster ways of sewing these by machine but there’s something about having that time to meditate and pray that I love! I started making these probably 25 years ago. I found that it helped me in the process of grieving my husband’s death 24 years ago. I machine quilted this one as it’s much quicker than hand quilting!
