Hi, friends! Can you believe it’s already time to start thinking about the holidays? I’ve got Christmas projects stacked up all over my sewing room. I can’t quit making Christmas quilts! It’s almost time to start my Christmas shopping and every year I tell myself I’ll start my gift list early. This year Missouri Star made it a little easier, because the Best of 2026 guide is here, and I have to tell you, it might be my favorite one yet.

Here’s what I love about it: it isn’t just a list of things to buy for other people. The theme this year is Treat Yourself. Think about everything you made this year. The bindings you finished late at night, the seams you picked out and sewed again, the quilts you gave away to someone who needed them. You deserve something special too! The guide gathers the products the Missouri Star community loved most this year, the bestsellers and the restock requests, plus brand-new launches marked with a little ★ New tag.
A Few Picks Worth a Look
If you only peek at one section, make it The Most Loved of 2026. The Missouri Star + Oliso ProPlus Iron is in there (the one that lifts itself off your fabric!), along with the 16″ Rotating Cutting Mat, which saves so much shifting and re-cutting. This is a favorite of mine. I keep it right beside me while I foundation paper piece. So handy!
Slow stitching had a huge year, too. Kits like the Feathers and Floss Embroidery Kit and the Falling Into EPP Beginner Kit are perfect for cozy evenings on the couch, and they make lovely gifts for a friend who wants to try something new.

Something for Every Budget
There really is something at every price. You’ll find big splurges for the sewist who has everything, a Big Value Under $50 section, and my favorite stocking-stuffer spot, Little Luxuries Under $25. The Ingrid’s Tabletop Maker’s Caddy keeps all your tools right where you need them, and the Lookin’ Sharp Lipstick Pincushion is just too cute. It looks like a tube of lipstick! If you’re in the mood for holiday sewing, the Missouri Star Winter Village and The Season’s Fabric sections are full of festive kits and bundles.
And if you’re shopping for a quilter and have no idea what she already owns (we all have three of something!), a Missouri Star gift card is always a hit. The new designs are so pretty, and she gets to treat herself.
So grab a cup of something warm and take a look through the Best of 2026 guide. Make a wish list, share it with your family, or go ahead and add something to your cart just for you. You’ve earned it! I’d love to hear what catches your eye, so leave me a comment below and tell me what’s at the top of your list this year.
Now excuse me while I go piece another Christmas quilt! I’m obsessed! I’ll share pics soon!
‘Til next time,
Beth
