Hi Sewing Friends! It’s been so busy around here. Summer is in full swing, the kids are out of school, and the days are stretching long and warm. There’s something about this time of year that feels both relaxing and energizing all at once. Maybe it’s the sunshine, maybe it’s the sweet tea – but whatever it is, it’s been good for my sewing mojo. I’ve been checking off projects left and right, and let me tell you, it feels so good to see those piles of fabric turn into finished beauties.
Of course, finishing one project always leads to the excitement of dreaming up the next one. There’s nothing quite like shopping for new fabric when a fresh project is calling your name. It’s that mix of hope, creativity, and a dash of “ooh, I love that!” that gets me every time. The moment I walk into a shop or browse online, the ideas just start flowing. And friends, the fabric world is full of temptation right now.
Speaking of new projects, I’m getting ready to start the Farmer’s Wife quilt with a group of my quilting besties. It’s a classic – full of charm, challenge, and stories in every block. I haven’t picked my fabrics yet, but I’ve been contemplating a few different colorways.

Both of these fat quarter bundles would make a gorgeous sampler! I will need to buy extra background fabric, but these bundles would definitely get me started. These are very classic colors. Do I want to go the classic route? You can find these bundles by clicking here.

You guys know I’m a sucker for Christmas quilts. What if I did Christmas Farmer’s Wife? Or what if I did just reds and creams like the photo on the right? Gosh, either of those could be gorgeous! Find these fat quarter bundles here.

My final choices are a patriotic Farmer’s Wife using the fat quarter bundle on the left or a pink/gray colorway using the pink fat quarters on the right with gray background fabric. What do you guys think? I love them all! You can find these bundles by clicking here.
So which ones do you like? I am so undecided! I wish I had time to make more than one quilt. Who knows, I might stick with one of these options or go off in a completely different direction. Stay tuned! I can’t wait to see where this one takes me!
