Hi, sewing friends! How has your week been? Mine has been full of sunshine, yummy food, embroidery, and a cat that I can’t seem to keep off of the quilt on my longarm! I think she has claimed this quilt as her own. I need to finish it and officially gift it to her. Then she will never lay on it again. She only sleeps where she shouldn’t! Does anyone else have a pet like this or is it just me?
Now, let’s get to the fun part: embroidery! You know how much I love anything that makes my stitching experience smoother and more enjoyable, and I’ve found something that’s made a huge difference. Missouri Star’s new embroidery hoop stand is amazing! It holds your embroidery, cross-stitch, and punch needle projects steady so you don’t have to hold the hoop. Talk about a game-changer for those long sessions! This tabletop stand fits hoops from 5” to 12” and even has an adjustable angle to suit your needs. Plus, it has a built-in needle and notion tray, plus wooden pegs to hold your floss—so everything is in one place. Made from durable beechwood, it’s sturdy, and I’m loving the little metal thimble it includes. Honestly, this little gem has made my stitching sessions so much more comfortable. (Hoop, floss, and other notions aren’t included, but trust me, you’ll love it.) I don’t use it for every stitching session, but I love using it in the evening. And the best part is that even when I’m not using it, it looks super cute sitting on my side table!

If you’re looking to start an embroidery project, check out the mix-and-match kits on Missouri Star! You can pick your design, choose your floss, and select your background—it’s like a creative buffet, and I’m here for it. Whether you’re a newbie or an experienced stitcher, these kits give you the freedom to create something personal and fun. I can’t wait to see what you make with them. You can find the mix and match here.

And don’t forget, Missouri Star offers some super cute FREE embroidery designs that you can download anytime. Perfect for adding a little extra something to your next project without breaking the bank! You can find those here.
Happy stitching, my friends! I’ll be here, embroidering my heart out. ✂️🧵
