Hi, I’m Mary. I recently made this A New Slant on Christmas pattern using materials from my stash. My reason for making this is that I live in a small home and when the kids come home for Christmas it becomes very crowded. If I put a tree in the room where we gather, plus presents under it, makes things very crowded. I decided this wall hanging would be the perfect solution to my problem. I plan to hang it from the curtain rod above my patio door and stack presents under it. It is 50″ x 64″ and has 846 pieces in it. The cut-size of the pieces is 1 1/2″ x 4 1/2″. It was a little challenging but I enjoyed it despite the fact I had to purchase a replacement sewing machine while making it. My 22-year-old machine finally gave up; it was a faithful machine and it pieced many, many quilt tops.
Thanks!
Mary
