Hi sewing friends! It’s a gorgeous day in my neighborhood! What about yours? We still have lots of snow on the ground but the sun is shining! It’s bright and cheerful in my sewing room. I’ve been flipping through the latest copy of Block Magazine (my fave!) and seeing several things I want to put on my to-do list.
If you’re not familiar with Block magazine, it is published by Missouri Star Quilt Co. and is chock-full of adorable quilt patterns, table runners, and more. This copy has an absolutely adorable pillow in it! The magazine is printed every other month and delivered to your doorstep. It contains no ads and is simply patterns, with a dash of fun stories sprinkled in. I’ve never heard of anyone who didn’t like Block Magazine. I have heard of people complaining that they didn’t have enough time in their schedules to make all of the cool patterns in it that they wanted to, though!
Block Magazine is changing its look a bit in 2025. The size is changing slightly and the new look is amazing! If you’re interested in learning more about Block Magazine or how you can subscribe, click here!

I also want to take a minute to mention this new arrival that completely stole my heart! This Chicken Scratch Fat Quarter Set from Timeless Treasures is just adorable! First of all, I have a backyard coop of hens that lay beautiful eggs for my family and I, so I’m pretty partial to anything chicken-related. Then, I see this fat quarter bundle that is packaged in an egg carton! How clever! The pattern is called Chicken Scratch and they are wonderful blenders. I can’t wait to see the quilts that are made with these! Check it out!

I hope you guys are making and creating all of your fun ideas today! Keep sewing and quilting! I know I will. Until next time!
Beth
