by Beth Cooper

Who is ready for Block #13 in our Nancy’s Notions Sampler Quilt Along?? Let’s hear it for Courthouse Steps! This block pattern is a fun one to make – not to mention it’s super cute!

Even if you’re not participating in the Quilt Along, this is a great pattern to print or download. This block would work great repeated in its very own quilt. Instead of making one block, just make 12 or more, depending on what size quilt you want to make.

Remember, you can jump into our Sampler Quilt Along at any time! We release one block per week and you can work at your own pace. You can find all the information on the Quilt Along here, as well as links to all of the past blocks.

As with all of the blocks, you can choose to make them scrappy or use the same color scheme throughout. A fat quarter bundle works well with this quilt. To shop fat quarter bundles, click here. It is also helpful to have the right ruler to square up each block. You can find that here.

I watched Nancy from day one of her show. She was like a best friend. I learned so much from her & cherish her books in my collection. So excited about these quilt lessons.
