Hi sewing friends! I am happy to report that everyone in my household is well and we have survived the virus that tried to ruin our summer fun! My mother is also on the mend from her fall and broken hip. Life is returning to normal and the pace is picking up in my sewing room! Finally! I think my sewing machine has been feeling lonely. (I know inanimate objects don’t have feelings, but for some reason, in my mind, my sewing machine does.)
This week’s projects have included mending a pageant dress, starting a new quilt for some newlyweds, and working on my Farmer’s Wife quilt blocks. I truly intended to start a Christmas in July project in July and then BOOM! July is over. I think I will start one in August anyway. By starting now, I will have three months to finish it by November 1st. I love, love, love everything Christmas and start decorating on November 1st, so I would love to have a new Christmas quilt completed by then. Anyone else want to join in the fun?
There are so many gorgeous new Christmas fabrics out right now! I can’t decide what to buy. Look at all of these beauties! You can find these collections by clicking here.

And I love these so much too! I may need to mix and match some of these lines. You can find the layer cakes below by clicking here.

If you’re looking for just the right pattern, check out these cuties! You can find these and many others by clicking here!

I love all of this Christmas inspiration and I hope you do too! It may be hot outside but it’s always Christmas in my heart.
‘Til next time! Happy sewing!
Beth
