A Beautiful Quilted Wall Hanging Features Veterans!

Quilter’s Name: Barbara Peters from Oregon

I am so proud of our patriotic family’s Army heritage and I wanted to do something tangible to share that history. I had lots of red, white, and blue scraps from making Quilts of Valor, so for my military son’s 50th birthday I put together this wall hanging. It features three generations pictured as soldiers—his grandfather, his father and himself. He has it proudly hanging on his wall. I am hoping to redo the fabric-printed snapshot at the bottom with the official Army pic when it can be unpacked from storage someday!

Happy Veteran’s Day!
