Because white and black threads are the most used colors in machine embroidery, this set includes only white and black permanent vinyl topping

  • Permanent vinyl topping prevents stitches from sinking into nap of fabric
  • Completely covers fabric; nothing shows through
  • Provides excellent stability for dense embroidery
  • Topping provides a strong base for embroidery during laundering
  • Ideal for embroidery on fabrics with nap such as:
    • Velvet
    • Corduroy
    • Terry cloth
  • How to use:
    • Select an appropriate backing stabilizer and place it on the underside of the fabric
    • Hoop your project in the traditional way
    • Match topping to the thread color
    • Cut topping slightly larger than the design area and place the topping over the fabric using a spray adhesive to hold topping in place during embroidery
    • Stitch, and then tear-away excess; absolutely no fabric shows through your stitching
    • Tears away easily—embroidering perforates the topping stabilizer allowing for easy removal

  • May be ironed with a cool iron
